We woke up early to the magical, misty world of Glacier Bay. We ordered a room service breakfast so we wouldn’t miss our balcony views...as we cruised up the various inlets.

We spotted a lone mountain goat and more than one sea otter lazily floating along on its back.

We had park rangers on board. The one woman, Ranger Katie gave a wonderful presentation from the bridge including reading Alaskan poetry and prose about this spectacular area. Thanks to climate change and their natural life cycles
Thanks to climate change and their natural life cycles, many of these glaciers may disappear in our lifetimes, The rangers have also brought photos of what the glaciers use to look like when some of the tidal glaciers reached the waterline.
Since we were so close to a majestic tidal glacier called Margerie, we could hear and see it calving. Stunning!!!
