Crossing into Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

The drive from Ellensburg, WA to Vancouver was a climb into the mountains.

The scenery was so lush with all the evergreens, broad leaves and wildflowers. We were actually able to turn off the car AC for quite awhile.

We listened to the the Congressional Mueller hearings which overtime managed to put me to sleep.  Mike is disappointed that Director Mueller doesn’t sound more forceful. I think he is guarding his words so much; as to not effect the report, so it makes him sound less than impressive. The question becomes one of “Where do we go from here as a country?” It will be interesting for sure!
If nothing else, we need to get Congress working together to get government business finished. There are too many issues and policies hanging, that are adversely effecting millions of individuals.

As we came around a bend, Seattle popped into view. WOW! Can’t wait to spend some time here after our Alaska and Canadian visits.

We weren’t expecting all the casinos up here outside of a Seattle.  It appears that many are Native American?

                                                    This store’s sign is great!

Crossing into Canada. Loved the metric speed information. Mike has a unique gift to always find great parking spots, but at the same time picking the slowest line. We will see??? Mike’s timing our entry since the digital sign said a 30 min wait. We usually only wait that long coming back into the US

                                                                70 degrees. Lovely!

Those crazy smart food & shiny item thieves are out in force...I’m referring to the ravens. It only took us 16 minutes to get through. YEAH!

Beautiful farms along the water here in Surrey and Delta.
