Getting Ready

It doesn't seem to matter whether I pack days ahead of time or at the last minute, I always have too much. Then, there is Mike, who is happy to wear the same few items over and over... What's a girl to do; especially when cruising? We only have to get our suitcases on and off the boat. Despite our advance weather checks, it's a bit tricky knowing what to bring on a 15 day transatlantic voyage???

We are praying our departure weather stays clear because it might provide us with another opportunity to see the Blue Angels practicing for their Miami Fleet Week performances. One of our thrills on the American Great Loop was seeing them practice over Pensacola. Can't believe they do what they do!!! This video gives you some idea of what it looks like to them; and, yes, they now have female pilot up there as well!

God Bless Them and Their Families!!!

After months of trying to get registered for an Alhambra tour while we are in Malaga, Spain; Mike was able to secure it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEseJViidy8
Best Anniversary Gift yet!!!

Fifteen days on the Emerald Princess seems long for some, but we love our relaxing sea days and are so excited to see the following exceptional ports:

Ft. Lauderdale, Florida |Azores Islands (Ponta Delgada), Portugal |
Madeira (Funchal), Portugal  Casablanca, Morocco (for Marrakech) | Seville (Cadiz), Spain
Malaga, Spain | Barcelona, Spain

Not a big fan of shipboard internet, but maybe we will try again; otherwise, we will be Internet and phone free until we land in the Azores... Adios...
